Why would I want to go on a networking cruise?
Here’s the answer.
As a business ourselves we attend lots of networking events, we get to meet lots of exciting and interesting people. Meeting other entrepreneurs always fires up our passion for business when we see others doing the same regardless of what business they are in.
Networking is fun but quite often you leave wishing you could have spoken to some people for longer (and some less!) - or you wish you could have chatted with that certain individual that you just couldn't get to.
In our day to day business at Focus Travel we organise themed holidays for media players such as the Radio Times & Spirit & Destiny magazine as well as corporate incentive breaks and business travel for groups, associations and clubs.
So, why not organise a networking cruise? - a chance for like minded individuals to meet, network with each other, learn from networking experts and perhaps carry those conversations over into the 14 bars and restaurants onboard a luxury cruise ship.
It seems like the most sensible thing in the world to do - who wouldn’t want to join us, especially as its a couple of nights in early December, when most businesses (except those selling Christmas trees) are starting to slow down, to review the Year and think about the year to come.
And so here we are with lost of businesses that have joined us in our ambition to host a truly groundbreakig cruise experience. We have found thus far that our networkers come from multi nationals, large local businesses and small to medium businesses. To us that’s the perfect mix - to have a Bob the Plumber sitting down with Sarah the CEO - to have Christine the Accounts Director meeting with Callum the Web Designer was exactly what we set out to do.
Add to this mix the experiences and insight of Lee McQueen - winner of the Apprentice, renowned business coach Ian Dickson teaching 'how not to network' and Stefan Thomas - author of Business Networking for Dummies and you have the recipe for a truly incredible experience.
But we didn’t stop there - we brought along Steve Thomson renowned body language expert, Naomi Harris - LinkedIn profile professional and Thingy who created her own marketing business just by networking.
Networking sessions comprise of one minute speed networking, 5 minute ‘lucky dip’ networking and 15 minute pre arranged networking.
Add into this that you’ll have a cabin on P&O Ventura, as much food as you can eat and all the entertainment on a luxury cruise ship and it all adds up to one incredible experience.
So - why not join us from the 3rd -5th December onboard P&O Ventura and have some great fun, great networking and an incredible experience on the UK’s first networking cruise.
