Families & Friends - who would have them?
Well, in fact most people do have a family or friends groups that they either enjoy being with, suffer being with or have to be with at special occasions.
I hope I’m not sounding too negative here but often these events where you are forced together can be a little oppressive if you don’t have your own space to breathe.
One of the newest ways that these groups are coming together is on a cruise ship - which are perfectly suited to groups of all shapes and sizes. Best of all they are effectively cities at sea - so you can gets together with your group when you need to or find your own space onboard your incredible floating resort when you need a break.
Cruise ships these days are not just for the 'newly wed and the nearly dead' - modern ships have dodgem cars, water flumes, rock climbing walls, circus dining shows and even ice skating rings.
For the culinary inclined there are restaurants from Jamie Oliver and Nobu to MArco Pierre White and jacques Pepin. Most larger cruise ships have around 10 - 12 extra theme restaurants on top of the regular main dining room and buffet.
Added to the the onboard facilities you can also organise exclusive land based excursions for your group to cities, tourist areas and even arrange VIP access to certain attractions.
Let 's talk about the cruise shaped elephants in the rooms and the usual reasons people cite as not to cruise.
My family will be miles apart on the ship. Again if booked early enough we can arrange interconnecting or adjacent cabins for most guests - (or we can place you miles apart if you'd prefer). The key here is planning ahead - that will provide you with choice.
So if you are looking for the perfect 'home away from home', where you don't have to pack your luggage every day, where you can visit a new city every day then look no further than a cruise.
